Why is there a range of price for colour?

There is a range for colour pricing because there are many variables that effect my cost to perform the service. A root touch-up is just what it says, roots. A price break can be given to clients who come every four weeks in appointments for this service only. Special effects and precise pattern placements can take longer. Full head of foiled pieces to a partial head of foils are different in time, colour, and products. My prices are also based on my industry experience and the amount of advanced education I have obtained.

What is the difference between a trim and a haircut?

There is no difference between a trim and a haircut. I know you hate to hear this but a trim that removes one quarter inch takes just as long as a haircut that removes several inches. Sometimes it takes longer because of the precision in cutting a small amount all around. Bang trim are different, they take a few minutes.

What happens if I’m a no-show or cancel the same day?

I appreciate when you arrive on time. As well, you appreciate me being on time. I strive to be on time for each and every client but I know that you or I run late due to circumstances beyond our control. If you expect to be late for your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible so I can make any adjustments needed to keep you and me on schedule. However it is not always possible to give a late arriving guest their entire appointment time. This may result in the need to reschedule, especially if the guest is more than 10-15 minutes late. Please note that the guest may be charged 50% the cost of your appointment if repeatedly late.

When you’re a no-show or cancel with short notice I do not get paid. If you no-show once, I grin and bare it. If you no-show twice, I will still want to see you but will ask to pay in advance to reserve your appointment time.

What should I do if I’m not happy?

Tell me, tell me, tell me. I need to know or I can’t do anything about it. I really strive to make my guests happy and when someone isn’t I will do what it takes to correct the situation. Most guests that are not happy in this situation tend to go away quietly because they are uncomfortable with expressing their concerns. I believe you are doing me a favor when you inform me if your services in any way did not meet your expectations. But you must please tell me.

How long will my colour last?

Using high quality products specifically designed for coloured hair, your hair colour should last from 4-8 weeks with 5-6 being typical. The variance has to do with your tolerance for fading, how often you wash your hair, how hot the water is, and how much you’re in the sun. Reds have less longevity of all the colours. Water is the main culprit but if you use inexpensive products your colour could last up to half of the time. I am not telling you this just to buy our products but because of what is in the drugstore products. High content of paraffins, imbalanced ph and harsh chemicals will turn your colour into something you did not pay for. Invest in a beautiful look and keep the integrity of your hair.
